Gil Scott-Heron Bluesology — The Journey is a collective of spoken-word artists, including Gil Scott-Heron’s daughter, and their journey from the Willie Agee Playhouse in Inglewood, CA to the SoHo Playhouse in New York City.

Through powerful images and storytelling, Gil Scott-Heron Bluesology celebrates Gil’s blues, the poetry he wrote, the music he created, and the truths he courageously spoke. It explores how his words and revolutionary spirit continue to inspire a new generation of poets, musicians, artists and cultural storytellers.

What began as a tribute became a movement—honoring the legacy of a cultural revolutionary while creating a space for new voices to carry the tradition forward.
